We will try to keep our meetings in a dedicated room by booking for future games, so untill then watch for email updates.

Stats as of January 15th are posted.

On Nov 8, twelve teams (1 UWO, 2 Mac, 1 Toronto, 1 Brock, 4 Michigan and 3 Rochester) participated in the TRASH regional tournament at UWO. Sadly, we managed to place 10th (by lowest rank of a 3-way 8th place tie) and 12th in this American content trash tournament. It seems the Americans are serious about their college football and 70’s shows.

Hi everyone,

This is a reminder that there will be a QuizBowl practice this Thursday Oct 30th @ MUSC 230 or 224 at 7pm.

We've been holding practices on Thursdays at the same place and time for a while now, and as a result have long stopped sending out emails.  But due to popular demand, the email notice is now back.

If you haven't heard from us for some time now or if you've never actually been to any of our practices, you are more than welcome to start showing up.

Also, if you are interested in playing in the Trash tournament @ UWO on Saturday Nov 8th, please let me know this Thursday in person or by email.  Apparently, Toronto, McGill, Brock, Rochester, Cornell and of course Western are going to be there.

Thank you.

Hey guys,

Thanks for coming out yesterday.  Congrats to Jordan who had 15 points/game average and also being the neg-5 king.  Everyone did well. Results are posted on the stats page. The trash stats will hopefully be up by the end of next week. I’ve also put up some photos in the stats page so take a look.

Just a reminder that there’s another meeting on Thursday Oct 9th.

Thanks

Hello ladies and gents:

QuizBowl for this Thursday Sept 18 will take place in HSC 3N5A and 3N5B at 7pm.  FYI, HSC (Health Sciences Centre) is the hospital building beside the Life Sciences Building.  We do realize that the hospital is a maze to many of you so we will try our best to get MUSC rooms next time.

3N5A and 3N5B are on 3rd floor in the blue section. Take the elevators (the ones you see as you walk into the library entrance) to 3rd floor and orient yourself in the direction of main street. Then turn left into the blue section and you can't miss it. We will also have a guide (Matt) waiting near the entrance for those bad with directions.

We will most likely be playing questions from last year's B.C Bowl as practice for the upcoming tournament.  Furthermore, we will soon be holding elections in accordance to MSU guidelines and thus ending the existing dictatorship.  You are welcome to run against the incumbents (although some of them really hope that you don't).  The emphasis of the election will be on the first year rep positions.

Thanks and hope to see you Thursday.

Hi everyone,

I'd just like to say we had a great meeting last night.  It was great seeing everybody out. I really do think we will all have a lot of fun this year.  Just going over what was decided.

- Meetings will be on Thursdays for now, but if things become difficult they may be changed

- If you haven’t paid your membership fee you can do that during our next meeting.

- Format of questions, (Toss-up => Bonus)

- The teams list is not set in stone. If new people want to join we can add you to a team.

- There really isn't anything else to say, just have fun!

See everybody next week, have a great weekend.
